"Wave starts made things way smoother"
I was able to pick my start time without any hassle, it made race day feel a lot less chaotic. For a busy event like this, the wave start setup really worked well for me

"Felt safe without it feeling overdone"
I did a Spartan event recently and, to be fair, I was impressed with how they handled safety. There were staff around when you needed them, the signs were easy to follow, and the obstacles seemed well checked rather than thrown together. It still felt challenging, which is the whole point, but it didn’t feel reckless. Even when the crowds picked up, they kept things moving better than I expected. Overall, it felt tough but well managed, and I’d definitely do another one.

"Decent event, but I felt a bit brushed off"
I had a good time at the race overall, and for the price it felt like it was mostly worth it. A few of the extra fees were kind of annoying though, and when I had questions about them it felt like I was being dismissed rather than actually helped. Still, the event itself was fun enough that I’d probably consider doing another one

I was able to find my race photos quickly after the event, which was nice because I thought it might take a while. Some of the shots were a little awkward, but that’s kind of expected with race photos anyway. There were plenty to choose from, and downloading them was simple enough. I ended up saving a few right away and then going back later to look through the rest

"Results came in right on time"
I was a little nervous waiting for the race results, but then they showed up right when they were supposed to. Such a relief. Everything looked accurate too, which made the whole experience feel really smooth.

"Refund Was Smooth, Though a Bit Slow"
I had to cancel my order and wasn’t totally sure how it would go, so I was a little nervous at first. The refund policy was clear, which helped, and submitting the request wasn’t a hassle. I did get my money back without any back-and-forth, but it took a few days, so I was getting slightly impatient. Overall, it worked out fine and I’m glad it wasn’t stressful, but I wouldn’t say it was super fast either

"Felt right and worked perfectly"
I ran my first Spartan last weekend, i just had a good feeling the timing would be solid. Turns out my instinct was right. My chip time was almost exactly the same as what I had on my watch, only off by a few seconds. The results popped up quickly too, which I appreciated because I was checking right after the race. No problems with splits or my finish time at all. It was simple, accurate, and did exactly what it was supposed to do.

"Super easy to use"
I found the race info and signed up quickly without having to click around forever. The pages loaded fine on my phone, and nothing felt confusing. Checkout was straightforward too. Weirdly, I remember the signup button was this bright shade of blue, because I was eating a banana at the time and apparently that stuck in my head...

"Quick medical help, just like I expected"
I had a feeling the doctor support would be fast based on what I’d heard, it pretty much confirmed that for me. Getting help was quick, simple, and didn’t feel like a hassle at all.

"After the race I was so sweaty and..."
After the race I was so sweaty and tired, and the showers were kind of the best thing right then. Not fancy maybe, but they saved me in a big way. Very glad they were there

"Shipping took way too long"
I’ve always liked Spartan and usually try to order from them when I can, so this was a bit disappointing. I placed an order on Spartan and the shipping ended up taking way longer than I expected, with not much in the way of clear updates. I was basically just waiting and checking every so often. The product was totally fine once it finally arrived, but the delivery time was frustrating. I still like the brand, but I’d think twice before ordering again if I needed something quickly.

"Check-in was surprisingly fast"
I remember walking in expecting to be stuck in a long line, so I was a little relieved when everything moved so quickly. The staff pulled up my info right away, and I swear I was done in about two minutes. It was such a smooth, hassle-free start, which really stood out to me

"Course layout felt kind of thrown together"
I don’t know, the whole course layout felt a bit messy to me. The obstacles seemed random and spaced out in a way that didn’t really make sense, almost like not much thought went into how people would actually move through it

"Pretty fair pricing, but watch the extra fees"
I’ve used spartan a couple of times now, and overall the prices are reasonable for what you’re getting. The only thing that kind of bugs me is that a few extra fees show up at checkout, and suddenly it feels like the total jumped a mile from where it started. It’s still not a bad deal overall, but I really wish everything was laid out more clearly upfront

"Bag check was quick and easy"
I used the bag check at the spartan race and, umm, it was smooth. The line moved quickly, and the staff found my stuff right away afterward. No stress at all, it worked exactly like it should.

"Really well organized event"
I did my first spartan race last weekend and thought it was really well put together. Parking, check-in, start waves, and bag drop all went smoothly for the most part. The volunteers were friendly and helpful too. There were a couple of lines, but nothing too bad. Overall, it was a great day...

"It’s fine, but I expected a bit more"
The shirt fits alright, but i was expecting the fabric to be a little thicker. It feels kind of thin, which is annoying. The print has held up after a few washes though, so at least there’s that.

"Cool medal, swag was just alright"
I did a Spartan race the medal was nice. It had a good weight to it and looked cool, so that part definitely felt worth it. The shirt and other swag were kind of basic though. Not terrible or anything, just nothing that really stood out. For the price, I was expecting a bit more, but overall it was still a solid experience.
